Education & Training
Justine Smith is our Treasurer of Private School Pups. In addition to being a board member, she is a foster dog parent. She specializes in fostering small and puppy mill dogs, working to help numerous find homes over the years. Justine was born and raised in Pennsylvania and moved to Ohio in 2016. She has a B.S. in Elementary Education from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania and her M.A. in curriculum and instruction from The University of Phoenix. Justine teaches lower school at The Wellington School in Columbus and is an active volunteer with Girls on the Run. She enjoys spending time with her husband, PSP board member Michael Smith, son Fionn, and her and her two rescue pups, Wyatt and Henry. Michael and Justine rescued Wyatt from Ohio Papillon Rescue in 2014 and Henry was a foster fail from Ohio Fuzzy Pawz in 2019.
