May 17 5k Run and 1 Mile Walk – Humans and Dogs Welcome

Join Private School Pups on Sunday, May 17, 2026, for our 4th Annual 5K at the Dublin Recreation Center!

Private School Pups is a charity providing professional dog training grants and educational resources to fosters and adopters of rescue dogs in need. Our mission is to help end the euthanasia of dogs at shelters by providing funding for professional dog training. You can help us achieve this mission while also getting fit by signing up for our 4th Annual Private School Pups 5K Run/1 Mile Walk. We’ll see you there!

Back in 2026: Can’t make it out to join us on race day? Join us virtually!

You can support Private School Pups while getting your miles in on your own time to earn a t-shirt and medal that will be delivered to your doorstep.

DOGS WELCOME!

New this year, your pups are welcome to join the event! To bring your pup to the event:

• Indicate on the registration process that you plan to bring your pup and verify that the pup’s vaccines are up to date and that there is no history of aggression.
• All dogs must remain leashed (no retractable leashes) for the event.
• Pet waivers must be signed before the race. Waivers will be provided electronically or during registration on the day of the event.

Dogs are also welcome at our brunch after party starting at 10 am. More details to come!

AFTER PARTY

Want to party after, or skip the race altogether and join us just for the party? Meet us at The Wag in Grandview (1330 Norton Ave, Columbus, OH 43212). We will be there from 10 am -1 pm. This venue has a full bar, coffee, a food truck, and other vendors for the event. Dogs that enjoy an open play space are welcome (must register your dog in advance, $15 for one dog, $5 for each additional. Dogs whose humans register for the 5k race/walk, in-person or virtual, get a FREE day pass. See more details at https://www.itsthewag.com/).
